After remarkable academic beginnings, the Théâtre de l'Aquarium moved to the Cartoucherie in 1973, to join the Théâtre du Soleil and the Théâtre de la Tempête who were already based there.
Today, the theatre, run by the La vie brève company offers a rich programme of shows, concerts, residences, meetings, workshops, readings, etc.
