Want to eat organic?
For a quick snack or to stock up, head for one of the town’s organic supermarkets, Naturalia, Bio C Bon, La Vie Claire or Biocoop! Unless you prefer the buzz of the Vincennes markets where you’ll find a number of organic producers, easy to spot with their disks displaying the words “Du bio dans nos étals” (organic stall).Other practical solutions include the three grocery/vegetable shops, Le Panier de Mamie, Au Potager de Mamie and Le Verger de Vincennes, which are full of fresh produce, much of it local. Not only that, but all three of these shops are open every day of the week!

Jewellery, fashion accessories, decorations… The Sira Kura shop sells items from across the world which have been hand-crafted from natural or recycled materials. A 100% fairtrade approach for the perfect gift that’s both ethnic and ethical! Another place to uncover a “responsible” gem is the shop and workshop of the association La Broc’antine, where upcycled creations come under the spotlight! Feeling peckish? Good. Because the association’s canteen invites you, in all simplicity, to try the seasonal, fairtrade and organic produce of local farmers who have joined the “La Ruche qui dit Oui” network.
